About
I am a freelance journalist from the UK based in Bogotá, Colombia.
I report on a range of topics in Colombia and Latin America for international outlets, with a focus on human rights, international relations, and security.
My work has appeared in Al Jazeera, Reuters, NPR, the Miami Herald, The New Humanitarian and the Straits Times.
I am fluent in Spanish and studied International Social and Political Studies from University College London, specialising in Modern Latin American History. I also studied history and political science for a year at Bogotá's University of the Andes.
While studying at UCL, I was Editor-in-Chief of the London section of The Tab, Britain's largest student newspaper.
